Purchase fireworks from reputable merchants who hold a license.

The usage of fireworks should always be under adult supervision.

Safety instructions printed on fireworks should be rigorously adhered to.

For the firworks, use an agarbathi or a candle.

Always keep a pail of water nearby so you can douse an impending fire

A safe landing area should be used for aerial fireworks.

DONT'S

Never start a firework display while holding it. Place them down, light them, and then depart.

Never use a container to ignite fireworks.

Never set off aerial fireworks near a tree, wire, or other overhead object (such as leaves) could hinder their flight into a clear area of air.

Never light off fireworks indoors.

Use fireworks outside, but never on a public street.

Never experiment with fireworks or build your own.

Never relight a set of "dud" fireworks; instead, wait 15 to 20 minutes and soak them in a pail of water.

Never use fake or unauthorized fireworks.

According to a ruling by the Supreme Court, fireworks should not be used between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
